Pictures
Images have been a motivating force in human art and culture. From tribal paintings to computer-aided photomanipulation, images have been a conveniently direct way to convey concepts that could otherwise take large amounts of text to communicate effectively. As the old saying goes, a picture tells a thousand words. However the words that a majority of these pictures convey are probably best left unsaid. Not that that's going to stop me, of course.

Drawings
On the more simplified and abstracted side of the spectrum lies these simple drawings- images that only bear a passing resemblance to their subject, but still manage to communicate their meaning effectively.
